Happy Birthday Global City!
Today marks one year since the most recent blog for the International Studies Program of CCNY went live! From the original suggestion of its creation at a SAIS meeting, to gaining more than 6,000 views, the blog has come a long way. Thank you to all of our subscribers, friends, and colleagues for supporting us throughout this journey. Cheers to a successful start and all that is to come!
In the midst of Finals Week here at CCNY, Global City reached its next milestone of reaching 5,000 views! As we still are less than a year old, this means a lot and serves as a testament to all who write for and maintain the website.

I would like to welcome Alise Armour and Alea Smalls to the Global City family and thank them for becoming our newest contributors! Just like the International Studies program and SAIS are what the community makes of it, the same can be said for this website.
